This, barring my picture of the young woman dressed as Lesbia which I posted earlier, is the only image that didn’t fit with my previous concentration post.
This thing is twice as big as all the others, bar the Lesbia picture and the British American one. This is a young Japanese woman feeding her Koi fish.
I worked for about two, three weeks on this, and used a couple different reference images to design the garden. It was mostly done in Prismacolor Color Pencils, but the water involved a small use of watercolor as the base.
Okay so, since my AP Studio Art class is over, I figure it’s pretty fair game to put these up now, as there’s really no bloody way my scores should be affected at this point.
So these are the last ten images of my concentration, which was centered around the idea of representing females of different cultures as people through unifying them in some way. That way being the fact that they all have meaningful relationships with pets. These are the raw, unedited photos.
All these images involve the relationship between a woman and her pet. Their ethnicity and their pet are mentioned in the captions.
I looked up images, compared them, and tried my best to capture each woman’s personality and ethnicity, while making her seem like her own individual. I also looked up domesticated animals and where they’ve been domesticated originally to decide pets - and for some I selected them on the idea that this would be a pet allowed in the United States, where a few of these girls may reside.
I’m actually rather nervous about putting these up, heh.

So far I’ve been working on it for about two and a half school days, (roughly like… six hours? per day) and I’ll be working on it again tomorrow, hopefully being able to finish it. But with about seven more humanoid figures left, and the main girl not even fully shaded (or the portal done, for that matter) I’m probably going to have to go back an extra day.
Still, I really like how it’s coming out. I’ve never been that good with paint, so this is a massive improvement for me!

So I refused to go to bed until I re-inked the entire picture. It is now 2:47AM, and I’m really proud of myself. It came out better than the last one!

Woo! Finally, my first finished fanart for FE:A. Ironically, it’s the one pairing I haven’t been trying to draw a hundred million times and gave up on.
It came from the idea that one particularly cold night, while Libra is praying, Nowi would come out to find him out alone in the cold, and put her cloak on him. Then, not wanting to sleep alone, Nowi would curl up in front of Libra and fall asleep.
